OMG! Chica looks terrible! She just looks so sad. How can people let things get this out of hand?
I am so glad you managed to get her back to where she belongs. Before you know it, she will have that sparkle back in her eyes! The rest of it will come in time. As far as the pregnant filly, well, you know my personal opinion on that, can't express those words in public. This just makes me sick. I hope she'll be able to give birth without any problems.
These people outta be shot!

Thank you for sharing Moniece!    I think we all have trusted many people before and have been through the same road!

I'm glad your horse is back in your care and bless ya for adopting the ARAB!!

You have showned to be a responsible keeper! and I have no dough they will look good very soon again!

Right now i have 5 horses in pasture that just adopted from hell!  LOOKING worse!  Crying or Very sad  I don't think SHOT is a good idea!  but definitely reported to the authority since they claimed to be a horse rescue.

Do you know how that filly got impregnated? wow!

Again, my respect to you for sharing!

Whew...i'm back now and feeling better at the moment. I'd like to continue on with our experience because if our story helps just one horse and/or helps just one person decide wether they really can or can not handle the financial end of taking on a rescue horse AS WELL AS the patients it takes since the majority come with alot of issues or wether they may not even truely have it in themself to give the horse all ends of what he/she needs or wether they would be much better all the way around to find and buy one that is ready to ride and ready to be a true partner from the start. When you take on a rescue sure it's a great thing to do but it is NOT about you,it is ALL about that horse. You have a duty to put aside what you want and need and hope to recieve from the horse and make sure that the very best thing for that horse is what you do,and that includes seeing that someone able to cover it's every need takes him or her in if you know you just really can't or should not.Chazzy, the arabian filly,is the perfect example of this.I am not the best thing, all the way around, for her therefore I have found for her a person that will be. So after getting her through foaling although she will be here she will have new parents that will really understand her knowing her breed and be able and willing to appreciate her to her fullest wich I,being honest with her and myself, would not.

More later Smile.Your friend,Moniece

And thank you Felix,my friend, for the complement Smile!!

I know it's taken a long time for me to post pics of Chica before I let her leave my place and pics of her now but please understand that untill now,now that she is doing a little better it would have been extremely hard for me to face the pictures from before.

Here's hoping both pics went through.Your friend,Moniece
