This must be my day to rain on everyone's parade...so, another one that can only be shown on concrete?
If he is awesome I have no way of telling--except he didn't either:
1. have the energy to go flying flat on his haunches OR
2. has done #1 enough times to know it is best not to fool with concrete and so is minicingly along.
At least #2 suggests the horse uses his brain.
Sorry I do not approve.

Almost any horses will look fast on concrete. It is slick and they are going in a circle so they will take short steps and apear to be fino. It is a old trick to make people think a horse is more then it is. This colt may just be fino and be great but you cant tell.
You can tell what he might be like if he was in sand.
But to each there own you will never see my horses working on concrete

with all due respect to all opinions even when respect has been absent!!! i don't think Jackie asked for any personal opinion from anyone!
So again with all due respect! if you will like to start a new thread based on your right or wrongs or on your own opinions... I will encourage any of you to please START ONE!
Jackie, your horse is a son of a 3 times world champion! that is Tormento de La Virginia, a horse that has earned every single ribbon and trophy in the Paso World! and a no other Stallion in history has achieved!
I only wish that 1/4 of all horses will be bred and presented like yours!
Thanks again for sharing your colt with us! and I truly wish you the best!
Saludos!

I do like your horse and would love for you to repost your video with your horse working on the sand. That would really show alot.

WOWWOW, where do I start!! First of all those who knows me know that I am very protective of all my horses and I, Tres or my trainer Chino would NEVER do anything that would hurt them in any way.
I am so proud of my colt and he moves ssoooo good that I thought I share it with you. He moves this way wether on concrete, sand, field, he is a natural, come and see for yourself . I wanted you to hear the foot fall of Matrix, I did not want to start drama, this is suppose to be a good thread for me and I will not mind negative opinions because I know what is going on here at our farm and it is all good! ) Ask Matrix? He will tell you how good he has it
I will make another video of Matrix this week and you will see . He is the son of Tormento and Doncella de Venari and he will be one to watch in the show ring. Matrix del Wildflower born May 1 2007

BigJ,
That is your opinion and it is very negative. This is not happening at my farm so please stay off my thread with your nasty senario.
Thank you.

Jacky - Love your colt and his name too. I know you love you horses and would never abuse or even "assist" or try to "make" a horse just by working him on the concrete like some people do.
Anyway, what is the mother's bloodlines anyway? I didn't know when we talked that you had a Tormento baby. We have one here that belongs to my customer. She is a filly out of Maraquita III x Tormento. Wow, she is great. Sweet too.
Best of luck with him - Lori

I am glad to hear that he is sweet. It seems that Tormento is throwing that in his offspring. The marking are interesting on your colt. They will make him even flashier
