I know he was cross with PPR in the early 70s! so you might find some information! try Canciller! or something similar! But will have to verify that information, not sure! LET ME CHECK! |

okay...Aggie has him in the pedigree, through Consetida Universal, who was apparently imported from PR. Last owned by Leon Alvarez...dam of Cascabel de Caruso. I had no idea he was half PR!! 
I'd love a photo of Cascabel, if anyone has it. PS...I think Contra-Resorte has this line too...son of Charlie! jejeje |

Ok! there was a PPR PLUMA out of La Pupe! and yes! i do remember Canciller being very PR! so you might be correct! (and i know my book is far from being the bible)
i checked! and there is no records in Colombia for those names! on my book! |

Okay....Cascabel would have been 1/4 PR, because apparently Marmaja (Consetida Universal's dam) was Colombian. I'm not sure how that all worked out, since Consetida was imported from PR, so that'd mean there was a Colombian mare in the woodpile in Puerto Rico!

Kerry this is how much i have found out about your inquiry!
Faquir was PPR La Pluma, They where 2 La Plumas, a Colombian and a PR. The Colombian was in Texas, imported by Juan David Ochoa approx in 1966 or 1967 to Ray Gillis. (check out Rays horses) The other La Pluma was Puerto Rican. The Candilejas (PR) lines where Wilfredo Bertran..... I hope this information can help any! Saludos! |
