Taking responsibility when we make mistakes. It is SO HARD to handle when we make real mistakes that effect our animals. Facing that animal, apologising to them, then taking responsibility and busting butt to make things right for them again does help but I don't know if that SO so very sorry feeling ever considerably lessens. My poor Chica and also my own heart have and are again paying so dearly for my mistakes. Twice I sent her to a new home believing she would be well taken care of and loved and twice now i've had to go take her back and recondition her from VERY bad condition.I will not trust anyone with her again, now she truely will be with me for life. I was SO extremely sad, regretful and you name it when I saw and picked her up yesterday. We'll have a long road to go again.Yesterday with help I brought her home along with a very pretty mostlikely bred 1 1/2 year old grey arabian filly in rough shape as well whom was reciently put under saddle. My heart and theirs are so very broken. Some people sicken me!!!Your friend,Moniece

Well, I called animal control this morning and requested that the officer come out to see and make a report about Chica and Chazzy so that it would be on file that I was not the person responsible for their condition but that i'll be fixing them back up. I explained to him that she did say that if she thinks she can take care of Chazzy afterall within three months that she does want her back.He told me that if she calls wanting her back I can give her his phone number and he will tell her "not no but hell no!!"
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ofcourse I would have done everything in my power that I could do for her but now I feel alot better about it.Your friend,Moniece

Hi Felix ! I'm going to email you some pictures of them today...probably this evening and if you can, please resize them and post them for me.Your friend always,Moniece
A note to everyone- Please don't jump on me when you see how bad they are. I was fooled and you can not know how terrible and low I feel about what has happened to her. I am sharing because I know you all care and because I need you all,my friends,to be there to support and listen to me.Your friend always,Moniece

I just wanted to give an update. Chica's "personality" is coming back ! Day by day I see her coming back to be more and more herself and while not looking good yet, I can see improvement. I'll get some new pics and post them. You will see her better mental state when you see her eyes, she had such an empty, vacant look when I brought her back home. She just existed but now she is back to interacting on her own free will with both myself and the herd and even telling them to piss off when one of them tries to bug her !
Chazzy is looking better too. She is young and it didn't take long for her to start showing her personality. She loves the curry comb and just to be scratched. She is starting to slick out and I can see she is going to be a beautiful arabian girl. She and Mijo get super jealous of eachother.I have to separate the two by staying up at the front with a hand on each and know when to walk away and tell them to work it out. I get about a minute before they both make it over to me. Anyway, i'll get some new pictures to add. Your friend,Moniece
