IPHF & ATTA Merge
Dear Paso Enthusiast,
The officers of IPHF and the directors of ATTA are pleased to announce the merger of IPHF and ATTA. This move marks the consolidation of the international heritage and the history of the Paso Show Horse - Paso Fino, Trote y Galope, Puro Trocha, and Trocha y Galope.
ATTA will continue to register the diagonal horses and IPHF will continue to showcase Trote y Galope, Puro Trocha, and Trocha & Galope horses at shows and events. IPHFATTA memberships will be converted to IPHF memberships through expiration. Look for changes to the IPHF website coming soon.
This consolidation will unify our continuing efforts to promote all modalities of the Paso Show horses. We demonstrated our commitment to this effort at our first US Championship show in Jacksonville in November 2008 with the inclusion of exciting diagonal classes. It has continued with the flawless presentation of Antanas Mockus by Jorge Suarez at the Citrus Bowl parade, Diego Bravo's demonstration at Ocala HITS, various exhibitions, and most recently with Glenna Struther's crowd pleasing demos at the IPHF-Startown Show in Charlotte, N.C.
We invite the world to our next show -- our most exciting event so far -- THE US TRIALS/PRUEBAS ESTADO UNIDOS PARA LA MUNDIAL DE CONFEPASO 2009, an IPHF show in Miami, Florida during Labor Day Weekend. The arena setup will duplicate the one to be used at the 2009 Mundial Competition in Pereira, Colombia, S.A. The horses will go through the Prepista as required under IPHF rules and will be counseled, if necessary, on compliance with the pre-class Confepaso requirements and will be judged by internationally certified judges using the IPHF five judge system.

Well then. I guess this will be leaving PFHA in the dust. Are they starting a separate registry or do the accept PFHA papers when registering at shows?
