PFHA will no longer be recognized by Confepaso!I was told PFHA will loose their chairs and all ties with Confepaso right after Mundial this year.
If this is true, all affiliations (chairs) will become solely for ATTA....................
Congratulations ATTA, i saw this comming for a very long time. PFHA is a mess with no escape................. I'm glad to see ATTA taking the lead of our breed in this country and wish them all well!

good thing or bad thing for PFHA?
I am happy to see ATTA get the place they deserve.
Who will suffer PFHA or Confepaso?
I am not being a smart alec... just curious as to opinions.
PFHA is being represented at 2010 FEI/(USEF/USAE) World Equestrian Games games in USA Kentucky Horse Park.

Good questions.
I don't see this as any long-term resolution.
CONFEPASO...what does it stand for anyway?

Might not be the solution but for sure will be the change desperately needed for this breed in this country and at this time!
I cant predict the future nor i will! but one thing I can do is change the present!
To continue persisting to work with an organization run by crooks the PFHA...... in non sense in my book! One thing i have learned in life is to know when to quit......... I think the PFHA has demonstrated where THEY WANT TO STAND! and for sure ain't my cup of tea!

Right, so go rub elbows with the SAME people at XXXX organization; that will show us all. And gee, how is it that most of the folks showing at Nationals this year have come from South America and the Caribbean. WHO are the crooks?
Like PR having five paso fino organizations...really and go to a show and who do you see? the same ones. Same breeders, same owners, same trainers, same horses. BTW-some of those same are here at PFHA, that crooked 'ol good for nothing association just filled with Colombians and Puerto Ricans, and Gringos riding such a shitty horse.
Oh, and did ya'll see the Besilu Collection addys on the PFHA big screen? Wake up!
How many paso horses are in the world? How many countries did the paso horse originate from? How many people in the world and in these countries own paso horses? So, tell me where I can go that is DIFFERENT than where I am now?
Please tell me of ONE paso organization that IS NOT politically corrupt, DOES NOT turn a blind eye to bad examples of the breed such as a lame Tormento or a trochador filly Maraquita. Please point me in the direction where I will find ONE uninvolved person with PFHA, FEDEQUINAS, CONFEPASO or LOS ABIERTOS.
After all some of those trainers, breeders and horses are competing now at PFHA nationals. That is just how it is.

I agree Candice...that's why I feel so lost. I honestly don't believe there is any place that my horse and I fit. I don't think it can be fixed, because I don't think anything that was built on lies to begin with, is a solid foundation to rebuild from. Top that with recent behaviors, and I see no benefit to being part of any of it.

I agree Kerry.
It has become apparent to me that what is wanted is a riding club that puts on shows every now and then so people can brag about their horses.
That's not such a bad idea either. It is probably what a horse show should be anyway. Make enough money to have it again...and have fun.
Thing about it is there's folks that think they can skim some of the dough and get away with it to the point there's hardly enough money left to have a show again. What is wrong with that picture?
I don't get it. I am wondering why I care at all. The juvenile behavior continues to astonish me.
I suppose my reason for sticking it out is as selfish as anyone else's...it does get lonely out there not having another person who understands why I have this type of horse and what a joy it is in spite of the baggage we put on it. I would like to meet others that have the same type of horse and appreciate it like I do.
