The annual PFHA Judges & Stewards Clinic was held in Ocala, Florida Feb. 13th - 15th, at the Hilton Hotel.
Events like this are important, Judges and Stewards play a very important roll in our breed like they do in all breeds.
Wonderful group of applicants and I personally wish them the best!
All speaker where great, but I really have to admit that Dr. Colon Nebot was fantastic, he went beyond in is explanations, very detailed and easy to understand........ His Speech was GAITS!!!!! couldn't picked a better person!
He went over the different modalities! and the differences NON-modalities often and badly confused as TROCHA..... Personally I think the PFHA should use his work as a perfect example to educate all member.... OH OH! he had the sound of each gait and non gait, we played a game of naming the TUNES (gaits)! well! I was disappointed and sadly impressed with some answers, but, on the positive side, we where all there to learn.....and that exercise is a great tool for a better future for every judge.
I am very glad we will soon have new judges in our arenas like Jose Ochoa, Jaime Gascon, Joselyn Suarez and Mrs. Rosh. I was very impressed by them
