H1N1

Okay...so my daughter had a cough and a headache last night.  This morning, I took her to the doctor, and they determined she has H1N1, or swine flu..whichever you prefer.

How did they determine this?  Her symptoms matched.  That's it.  No test.  Of course, they'll mark her down as a positive for it, for CDC statistics.  Sent her home with two $70 prescriptions, and it's all good.  For the drug companies.  Really made me stop to think about how accurate the reports are for this pandemic...how many others have a bug that they call swine flu, to scare the hell out of people?

I was sent a forwarded e-mail about swine flu, and you're right.  It's all good ... for the drug companies.  It seems swine flu is no different than any of the other flus that have gone around.  In fact, there have been more deaths ... hang on while I go find it.  I'll cut and paste if I can.

Nope.  Can't paste it.  Durn.  In any event, the gist of it is this:  the regular run-of-the-mill strain of flu kills more than 35,000 Americans every year.  1.6 million died from TB in 2005.  Swine flu?  1,154 people have died of it world-wide.

Your odds of being one of those people who die of it:  1 in 8,000,000!  You're more likely to drown in your own bath tub or die falling out of bed than you are to die of swine flu.

Don't know if it's true, but this same article says that the company making all the vaccine just happens to have a MAJOR share holder in Donald Rumsfeld.  Now isn't THAT comforting?

Very!  I asked the receptionist at the Doc's office about the vaccine for swine flu...she said they'd be very hard to get.  So wtf?  They're sending them to clinics, and by the time they are easy to find...it'll be all over.  Of course, people will still go GET them...but not me.  I think I've already had it anyway.  I just didn't go to the doctor.  It's not like they can do anything for it anyway except maybe give you tamiflu...I just took over the counter stuff and got over it.
Jane Hurl

I plan to get "the flu shot", but not "the swine flu shot".  Apparently they are different.  I think I'll wear gloves a lot this winter ... and stay out of town a lot this winter.

I just read somewhere the other day a report from some doctors saying that they wont administer..their kids with it!    check it out!  cant find it......now!  well!  I also think I had it......

hope your daughter's speed recovery!
Kerry W

Thanks Felix...I'll give her your regards.  I got the regular flu shot, but won't get H1N1....since I think I already had it.  I just think there is a lot of hype to scare people...just can't figure out why, other than to line the pockets of the drug companies.

I HATE to say it because I like to have more faith in humanity, but (sadly) I think you're right, Kerry.

There's a bible verse that goes like   "the love of money is the root of all evil"

I've done a lot of research in several areas and have uncovered an awful lot of corruption perpetrated by big corporations just for money.   The magnitude of corruption and murders that get done just for money is horrible.   They do their best to hide it all under a pleasing and seemingly honest front.  And because of the amounts of money involved the purpretrators are untouchable.
Cancer and AIDS are deseases that are money makers for both the medical system and drug companies,  cheap and easy cures have been found many times over,  but the system refuses to use them and any doctor who trys to, get's hit by threats of loss of license and worse if he continues,  some have been expelled from the country,  some have been set up with fake malpractice suits and spent time in jail.  Those who manage to escape the system get condemmed and accused of quackery by the "experts".
I have a close friend who's a doctor, (retired now)   and i saw how the drug companies push the doctors to use their drugs, it's big business.
And I know a cancer surgeon working at a large hospitol who started treating cancer by a simple very effective method,  when he got hit by threats from the top (AMA)  requiring him to quit healing people or loose his license to practice.  He took early retirement instead.  (moved to the far side of the country and started taking cancer patients in his home)
The same problem exists in the agriculture system,    all of those toxic chemicals farmers are taught to use and think they can't farm without them,  are causing a good share of the cancer and poisening the soil.
I've dug into the alternative,  and discovered what wonderful production is posible without the chemicals and all those issues the chems are supposed to cure are much better solved without them,  just by balencing the minerals and getting rid of the toxic stuff, the crop yealds can go way up and the expenses drop.
The energy industry is even worse,  because there's more money involved.    If it wern't for their heavy handed suppression of inventions and inventors over the last 80 + years,  the whole energy system would have gone out of business,  all our transportation and electricity would have been 100% free energy based,  0 input and 0 emissions.
Dozens of inventions that would have done that many times over have been around for a good many years.  The energy industry has the patent office in their paws and won't allow them to get through,  For a long time any time a free energy patent application was recieved they'd "classify" it as a top security document,  and require the inventor to destroy all proto types and documentation,  and not talk about it, with the threat of 20 years jail time for non complience.  Many inventors have lost their lives at the hand of hired assains,  because they refused to quit pushing their badly needed inventions.
Any energy shortage is manufactured by the industry for profit,  nucular, oil,  coal, and even water power from dams is an antique thing that should have passed away soon after it started as new inventions came to light,  but just the minute someone discovered money could be made on something, (such as crude oil)  all further development that would superceed the money maker was put to a halt.
I read reciently about an invention created long time ago of a simple device that created what I'd call an artificial gravity force,   like a thrust tube,  using a very small amount of electrical energy for a tremendous amount of thrust.  Could have been used to power jet planes,  space flight  etc,  mount them on vehicles for a driving force independant of the wheels or traction.
I've sorted through dozens of inventions for motors that are self powered,  generators that produce power with no input,  etc.
that elusive perpetual motion machine is only elusive because the energy industry has caused them to be.
It seems that all of space is full of energy and the means to collect it are numerous and simple,  but manufacture and sale of such machines are secretly and yet effectivly prohibited by the energy for money crowd.
Yes,  this world is a real mess of greed causing much unnessasary suffering and death,  robbery and murders.
There is a solution,  but man dosn't have it.   The greed is so strong and so powerful and under command of so great resources,  they are untouchable by any honest person or government.  An intervention by Jesus himself is the only solution, and  (according to certain bible prophecies that are already starting to be fulfilled)  it's not going to be delayed much longer.

very well said!  thanks for sharing!   excellent writting!

Well, crud.  I have changed my mind on this Swine Flu thing.  I've become a convert.  There was a child, a mere 10 or 12 year old, in Toronto who came down with Swine Flu last Sunday.  He was DEAD by Tuesday!  There was NOTHING they could do!  He was IN hospital when he died, so it wasn't like he wasn't getting care!

The downside of getting the vaccine is the (VERY unlikely) possibility of neurological complications.  Pfft!  I'd rather have neurological complications than a coffin!

While I am not in the highest risk category, I wil stilll be getting my vaccine as soon as possible.  If you have a child, please give it a LOT of consideration.  it could be a life and death decision.

WOW!  that is sad Jane!  Thanks for sharing!

I think the concern is not the flu itself, but the bacterial infection in the lungs that can follow this strain of flu.  This infection is not typical of other flu strains, and that is why the panic.  I think I've already had it, or I'd probably get a vaccine, being that I have contact with a great number of people each day.

I just watched a VERY long dissertation from a Spanish nun, who is also an accredited medical doctor.  Those of you who speak Spanish will find it easier to watch than I did (I had to read the sub-titles).

It is VERY long.
It is also VERY interesting.

The question is:  would a nun/doctor lie to us?

Have a listen/read:  http://timefortruth.es/general/bell-tolling-for-the-swine-flu/

So now, more than ever, I'm on the fence about this vaccine.

Yah, I watched the whole thing too,  same old thing,  the big guys tweaking the system to make money,  in this case involving peoples lives.
Many years ago discoverys were made,   researchers discovered that any virus could be easily killed in a human body electrically with no ill effects to the body from the treatment.    Just by applying certain low frequencys in weak currents.    But the minute it was realized how effective and cheap it was it was immediatly made illegal in medicine and hasn't been touched sence,  except by a few independant natural healers using crude oscilators applying broad spectrum frequencys.
I knew a osteopath chyropractor years ago who had one of the early machines, which was more advanced,  she was very skilled at it's use and was able to accuratly daignose any problem in the body.  But she kept it locked in a back room and we knew if the 'system'  knew she had it she'd land in jail for life.
I've studied natural healing a lot and have learned from a number of old men who practiced it all their lives as 'herb doctors'
One of the best ones stated positivly,  "there is no such thing as an incurable desease,  but there are incurable people"    meaning he never met a desease he couldn't cure,  but he'd met plenty of people who wouldn't cooperate to implement their own healing.   It does take effort and determination,   and knowlege of what to do.
I had a great grandmother who treated a lot of flu cases in 1918 using natural treatments, just simple hot and cold water treatments and immune enhancing herbs, it was reported she never lost a case.
There is a substance in black walnut leaves and nut hulls that kills all kinds of bad things,  also something in the wormwood herb that does the same,   they'll wipe out cancer, aids,  all kinds of virus,   etc.   Add to that cleansing and immune boosting herbs,  and then hot and cold water treatments,   and there isn't a desease than can survive.
Many people have cured themselves of cancer just by going on a  100% raw vegan diet.   something about the enzyme activity of uncooked vegetables,  specially carrots,  that cancer can't live with.
On one hand I'm not afraid of any desease out there,  because I know how to cure all of them,  on the other hand I also know how to live in such a way as to never get them.  However I'm not quite able to do it to the extent I need to yet, so I still pick up an occasional cold,  but it's always minor.  That's why I'm a vegetarian,   but that's just a start.  I need to grow everything I eat in order to make sure it's grown on a mineral balenced soil, and then eat it raw as much as posible to get the enzymes.  (by the way, getting adequet cobalt in the soil will cause the plants to manufacture B12,  even though cobalt is not needed for plant growth,  and is therefore ignored by the ag comunity)
Oh and i bet you never heard on the news about the man who was cured of AIDS by a simple treatment,  and then when they tried to culture the virus in his blood it died.   That kind of stuff gets ignored in favor of expensive drugs that are marginally effective.
We are suppose to live in a free nation,  nowdays the freedom is only skin deep,  and even that is beginning to erode seriously.
I see nations and religions setting themselves up to finish fulfilling all those bible prophecies that havn't been fulfilled yet, it's getting very obvious where we are in the stream of time.

I agree 100%........  very interesting!   thanks for sharing!  fascinating!

My understanding is that the idea here is to vaccinate as many people as possible, not merely to prevent them from getting sick, but to keep them from spreading it to others. It's not like this is an untreatable or incurable disease. The vast majority of people who get this will recover just fine, but in the meantime they hand the virus along to others (elderly, ill, infants) who will not. Personally, I believe I had this virus back in one of the spring waves before they knew what it was and it is about as sick as I've been as an adult. Three days of a raging headache and fatigue so bad I couldn't get out of bed. I'm normally the kind of person who will keep working/moving around even if I get sick. I simply couldn't with this one. I'm getting the vaccine anyway just to be sure; I certainly don't want to go through that again!

The secondary purpose of vaccinating is to keep large swaths of the population from getting sick all at once. For example, if 60% of the police officers in a given station are out sick, who is responding to 911 calls? So, if you won't get vaccinated for yourself, do it for others in your community. Smile

I was watching TV last night and they say that 25 people have died of H1N1 in Alberta so far.  That's not 25 in CANADA.  That's 25 in ALBERTA.  We only have about 3 million people, maybe 3.5 million, in the entire province.  Add to that the fact that Alberta is the same size as Texas, and we are not exactly jammed in like sardines up here, so transmission rates aren't as high as other places.

This is worrisome.  25 dead is an awfully high number considering our population and area.  And it ain't over.

Right now we are not ALLOWED to get the H1N1 shot unless we are in the high risk categories.  I think I'll go get the regular flu shot this week and hope to get H1N1 in the near future.

But you're entirely right, HappyFeet.  I think it behooves us to get the shot for others (especially the high risk people), if not for ourselves.
