Hi Caliber,
The background location is in Maunabo. Maunabo is a small coastal town in the southeastern corner of Puerto Rico. Its neighbors are Yabucoa in the north and Patillas in the west, both along PR road #3. The roads leading to Maunabo are hilly, twisty and narrow, which makes it uncomfortable to travel to Maunabo. Even so, its quiet beaches and excellent sea food make Maunabo a favorite destination of many people from neighboring vicinities. A well-known landmark around Maunabo is El Faro Punta Tune, a 19th Century lighthouse, which for decades had been utilized by the U.S. Coast Guard. In February 2006, it was announced that the structure and surrounding lands would be transferred by Federal Authorities to the government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Plans are underway to renovate the area and develop it in an effort to attract tourism to the area. Maunabo has many snack kiosks and seafood restaurants along its beaches. Prices are reasonable and the seashore areas are very pleasant. |

Que alegría Compay to see you here in this forum. Of the artist I will tell you that is a young Puerto Rican call, Luís Enrique Garcia Cooper. He like the Paso Fino horse so much that he wants with its art to contribute in this manner with a granite of sand to our horse breed. Thank you so much Compay… to be here with us.
