Bolero de Sierra Morena

Bolero got third place in the Championship at the IPHF/ATTA Show in Miami this weekend. The Trote Y Galope Class was the best, there were no place to seat down, the crowd were huge. It was an amazing show all the way around, great for the Trote Y Galpe breed.

Bolero  is a magnificent 10 year old Trote & Galope stallion that was imported from Colombia, I call him my big gentle giant for his size and great disposition. Bolero gets his beautiful coloring from “Don Danilo” who was the foundation breeding stallion of the Trote & Galope horse. Bolero is making a name for himself as the only palomino Trote y Galope stallion in the USA.  His coat is an unusual gold shimmer in the sunlight. Bolero has an expressive head, an impressive arched neck, and wide chest. Bolero possesses great quality in his physical structure with large bone and big joints supported on strong healthy hooves. Bolero is amazing, he is stunning, noble, and sensitive and a friendly people oriented stallion.

Bolero is a crowd pleaser anywhere he goes and a joy to have at home. He is easy to handle and behaves very well among other horses.  Bolero‘s willingness to please is extraordinary.  Bolero has outstanding rhythm natural balance, a smooth natural gait and agility.  Bolero is my riding partner for life!

His conformation and outstanding temperament and striking colors make him the prefect stallion for your mare. Look for his first foals in 2010. $1,000 Breeding Fee.

Jacky, Congratulations to Bolero on his great showing at the IPHF Show in Miami!  He was so much fun to watch!  You should be so proud of what he and your Trainer accomplished.  Great job!

Now, tell me, is it true that your Trainer has only been working with Bolero since the end of July???  And, is it true that your Trainer is Puerto Rican and has never ridden Trotes before???  Wow!  Impressive!

Again, Congrats!  It was indeed quite a Show!

Thank you so much!!  I am glad you enjoyed watching him and it is true, three weeks of training and a Puerto Rican trainer! Haha.  Shocked
After going to the Extravaganza I decided that maybe we should take Bolero to Miami and maybe have better chances with the Trote Y Galope class. So I told my trainer "Jose Chino Rosa" to start training Bolero three weeks before the show and we took him down to Miami. Bolero never showed in a professional class ever, never done figure 8 or serpentines and my trainer never showed in a Trote Y Galope class either, so they were both rookies and they did fantastic together. I am extremely proud of them!  Very Happy  Very Happy

I ride Bolero almost everyday in the woods and on trails and I do exhibition as much as I can with him to represent the Trote Y Galope breed, I love the breed and I love to show him off.  I am so glad I took the decision to bring him down to IPHF, it was the best way for our farm to end the year, third place with 7 great stallions, I could not ask for better placement.

When the Championship class we over , I jumped on Bolero and rode around Tripical Park and had so many people watching us ride together, kids just wanted to touch him, so many people wanted pictures, he sure has a lot of fans!  Razz

I told Chino next time we decide to show Bolero we will start training three months instead of three weeks before the show, in this case Don Pepe you better watch out!  Laughing  Laughing  Wink

I love a great story and that is a great story!

Imagine what your Trainer and Bolero could do in the Show Ring with many months of working together, eh?  That Serpentine at the Show was very tight, not much room at all, and they did great.  And, your Trainer was against all Colombian Professionals out there, too.  He must feel good.

I don't know why, but the story of "Seabiscuit" keeps coming to my mind...
