I search the web when time permits and sometimes the news aren’t so good. For example, just recently I learned that horses are put to fight for sport in the Philippines and China. “The tournaments are promoted as a 'cultural tradition', but in fact they are largely organised and controlled by crime syndicates”. I post a pic of what’s the news call “Tournament of blood” so everybody can see the graphic of the content and the link in case anyone care to read it:
Of course there’s always someone who may say that horses fight by nature and probably want to make believe that we’re making a big deal out of nothing, so, I spare the time and explain that horses, even in their natural habitat of wilderness are willing avoid a fight with each other; they do fight to protect their pack or for hierarchy dominance of the alpha stallion. Otherwise they display all sort of body language to intimidate his opponent avoiding physical confrontations, and is safe to say that three-quarters of all horse disputes are settled without resorting to violence. (Or so I’ve read).
