MVP’s in the Puerto Rican Circuit

<>At the beginning of this year the magazine Paso Fino a Puerto Rican Breed decided to establish a system to determine the MVP’s in the Puerto Rican Circuit.

<>The System would give a set of points to the first 3 positions to the rider, the horse, the sire and dam.

Here are the points system explained:

All of the Grand Championships in Paso Fino
1st place - 35 pts
2nd place - 25 pts.
3rd place - 20 pts.

All the Paso Fino events (including Championships)
1st place - 25 pts
2nd place - 15 pts.
3rd place - 10 pts.

All of the Grand Championships in Bellas Formas
1st place - 20 pts
2nd place - 10 pts.
3rd place - 5 pts.

All of the Championships in Bellas Formas
1st place - 15 pts
2nd place - 7 pts.
3rd place - 2 pts.

<>The system will only count points obtained in Invitational shows of any Pure Puerto Rican horse’s organization. Closed shows, such as the Federation’s state championships, will not be considered.

<>The MVP’s will be presented and recognized at the Dulce Sueño Fair of March 2010.
