Today must be my day for comments. Montejicar pasos in Great Falls VA has a number of the Jibarito descendants (Prodeco lines). I'd suggest contacting them if you want to know about the line. I have one Jibarito line mare that I adore -- she is personality plus. Not the most attractive horse, but definitely naturally fino. I'd like to see videos if anyone has them; both this mare and her mother are tall, not sure how big Jibarito was, but mine is Gracioso on the top, and I know he isn't big.

well Kerry! you have mentioned great lines in my opinion!
Starting from Gaucho we can see how well he produced, Faraon and then Jibarito!
I personally have always liked Jibarito! In particular his mares are very good transmitting! Jibarito was known for transmitting "BRAVURA" I personally didnt experience bad temper with any of our horses that possessed Jibaritos close lines!
In the early 70s, Jibarito was shipped to Venezuela. I have seen espectacular horses, especially mares by him from Venezuela.
Later on Dairo Chica, one of the most respected and best breeder (if not the best) purchased him!
Dulce Sueno, today's Colombia top 3 producers aslo carry Jibarito in his blood!
Esfinje! an untouchable mare that passed away last year at very young age, also carried Jibarito in her makings!!!
So! in my opinion! JIBARITO made an impact in our breed and was a great horse and producer!
