3. Goal Statement and Strategies:
GOALS:
To represent all Paso horse Association/Federations in the United States through the Paso Fino Horse Association (PFHA) at the international level.
To advise the PFHA Board of Directors of issues of importance at the international level.
STRATEGIES:
To stay informed of the international horse movement by attending all CONFEPASO meetings and Congresses.
To keep the good communication between the PFHA and all other local and international horse Associations/Federations.
4. Revision of Goals:
To support and promote the Mundial 2010 scheduled to be held in Pereira, Colombia in November 26-29, 2009.
5. Accomplishments:
The successful participation of the USA Equitation Team at the VII Mundial Felix Santiago Oliver held in Medellin, Colombia in July 2008.
The unanimous ratification by CONFEPASO's Board of Directors of the two Delegate's seats of the United States belonging to PFHA.
The preliminary approval by CONFEPASO of the PFHA Policy on other modalities which was presnted to the PFHA Board on January 23, 2009.
6. Critique of ActivitIes:
The CONFEPASO Committee appreciates all the support provided by the PFHA Office and its members.
7. Recommendation For Goals For Following Year:
To continue to educate PFHA and other horse Associations/Federations membership on what is CONFEPASO and what does it means to be an active part of an international association that promotes the paso horse.
8. Policy Changes:
Approval of the recommendation by the Task Force on the PFHA Board of Directors Policy on Other Modalities as presented to the Board.
