This is a video of Brillante del Caribe (June, 2005) it was taken last winter when he was 3.5 yrs. old, but very early in the training process. (He is not being asked anything in this video. He is now much more collected.)
I am trying to post a video for the first time, so please be patient; it is not the best quality production:lol:
Here are photos of him taken when he was 11 months old, they really show his color better:
This is the first video I had for this colt. I will be posting more. Brillante del Caribe is an exicting Chestnut out of the famous Joyero III who just won Spectrum International Fino Stallion Champion at the mature age; well let just say he is over 10 years old. I think he is eleven. His mother has produced 7 foals; and all 5 of them are outstanding. She was bred by Dayro Chica of the famous Hacienda Lusitania in Medillin, Colombia. The breeders of Retorno, Nevado, Castellano, Dulce Sueno, Verso, Rima, Esfinge, Arreriero, Rumpensuelo(sp), and many more famous champions who I apologize for not mentioning.
We feel this colt when matured will show the excellence we breed for; quality natural gait, smoothness, confirmation, beauty and that special disposition we all love Pasos for.
I will post more videos hopefully soon. This colt is being offered for sale at a reasonable amount, as he has not been proven in the show ring yet. He was not started early as he was slow to mature (like Joyero III) We did not want to burn him out as a 3yr old in the show ring as he was not ready for it. He has been in training for the last 4 months with Alonso Bentacur in Ocala, FL. Alonso has done a wonderful job with him. He is much more polished, collected & of course more mature looking now.
If you are interested or may have a customer looking for colt (serious inquiries), please contact us through our website www.caribepasofinos.com, click on the "contact us" icon. I can send you a current DVD
FYI - You can see another colt we have for sale on our website out of the same mare. This stallion "Camino" has been proven as an very good sire.
OK guys my "baby" is now going to a really big show. I posted pictures of him when he was a yearly now I am posting a video of him. This was at Extraganza, 4 year old fino colts class, trainer is Alonso Betancur (great job Alonso!). This was this colt's first time ever in the ring:
