Yes, I prefer the gaits to be exhibited with a certain precision and deliberateness and not just fling the feet and legs around. To me it also reflects the "awareness", the mind of the animal that pays attention not only to the rider but to himself as well. I'm not much for watching an animal that makes the paso gaits look like he has to work hard to obtain them or spend excessive energy. I like a horse to appear he can work all day and sustain gait with an ease and style appropriate to be called paso.
I'm not much for this nervous heaving panting twitchy tail flagging mane waving jiggle of a gait with a flash that can only last for what is it now??? 5 minutes. And I'm still trying to figure out why any judge in his/her right mind wants to "protect" that.

OH Yeah! This is definitely my type of horse. Clear, crisp, clean, elegant and fluid. She is beautiful to me! I'd like to experience riding one of those.
She is wonderfully square, straight and has a symmetry in her movements. She looks like an all day horse, which I truly love.
